August Scrapstasher's List!

Hello everyone! My August Scrapstasher's meeting is being held this Mon. 8/2 & Tues. 8/3. This month's meeting is all about RIBBONS & FIBERS & TRIMS...I have some great ideas and fun projects to share with you! I hope you will join me!

"What to Bring":
Lots of Ribbons & Fibers & Trim Scraps
(if you mainly have spools, then bring a variety of 6 to 8 in. pieces)
Two 8 1/2x 11 in. sheets of white cardstock
Glue dots
Tacky Tape or Sheet
Stapler
Tacky Glue (Zip Dry or Fabritac)
Small Wood Frame (I used one of those$1 chunky wood frames at Michaels)
Foam Brush & Paint
Scissors

Calling all Stasher's! - JULY

Hello fellow Stasher's! Can you believe we are already halfway through 2010...unbelievable isn't it?!?! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer so far and I am really looking forward to creating with you once again. I have a really fun project planned for you...it will be a great way to preserve some of those Summer memories that you are making this year....and better yet, you'll have "Double the Fun" with this project because it can be used in two different ways! Here is the list of items that you will need to bring with you to our meeting:

"What to Bring":
Chipboard - six 5x7 pieces
(if you don't have chipboard, you can cut up cereal boxes, shoe boxes, etc.)
Cardstock - seven 5x7 pieces (can be assorted colors if you like)
Printed Papers - bring a variety of Summer(they don't have to be themed papers , they could just be summer colors)
Summer Photos/Embellishments/Ephemera- (optional - could be added later)
Alpha's that spell out SUMMER - you could cut these on your cricut, stamp them, use Thickers or Chipboard Alpha's, etc. It would be great if they were about 2" to 3" tall.
Large Eyelets - 12 coordinating colors
Cropdile or other eyelet setting tool
Coordinating Ribbons - 3 or 4 different ones that go well with your papers.
Ball trim - (trim with poms hanging on it; six 5 in. pieces, they can be various colors or the same...it's up to you)
Twine - 1 yd.Coordinating Buttons - various colors and sizes
Shredding Scissors (if you have them)
Adhesive
Glue Dots
Pop Dots
Diamond glaze or Glossy Accents / foam brush
Scissors
Stapler
Cat Eyes (or small ink pads for inking edges of papers)
A couple of your favorite border punches

Calling all Scrapstasher's!

Have you heard???? Yes...the secret is out....this month we will be having our 2nd annual Super Stasher Page Swap! You will leave this swap with 4 unique double 12x12 lo's. That's right 8 pages!! Better yet, you will be leaving with your same papers so this way you can bring in the types or themes of paper that are best suited for you and your pictures! Please do your best to get to the store a little early so that we can start on time. This is always such a fun event! So take a few deep breaths and check out your beloved "what to bring" list:

"What to Bring":
It's very important that you have ALL of your PAPER pre-cut and ink your edges (inking is optional) prior to coming to our meeting. These pages have been designed to show you how to use multiple printed papers on 1 lo. Collections and Double-sided papers will work great because they are already coordinated for you.

Layout #1:
Cardstock A - two 12x12 in. sheets Base Pages
Cardstock B - three 2x2 in. squares
Cardstock C - three 1 1/2 in. squares
one 6x6 in. piece
Printed A - one 4x12 in. piece
one 3x12 in. piece
Printed B - one 6x8 in. piece
Printed C - one 4x6 in. piece
one 4 1/2 x 5 in. piece
Printed D - one 5x7 in. piece
one 3x12 in. piece
Printed E - one 4x5 1/2 in. piece
Printed F - one 8x12 in. piece
Printed G - one 3x12 in. piece
Various Prints - three 1in. circles (use a circle punch, can be a little larger than an inch)

Layout #2:
Cardstock A - one 12x12 sheet of cardstock (base page)
Printed A - one 12x12 sheet of cardstock (base page)
Cardstock B - two 4 1/2 x 6 in. pieces
Cardstock C - one 5x7 in. piece
Cardstock D - one 4 1/4 x 5 3/4 in. pieces
- two tags 5 1/4 x 2 3/4 in. (shipping tags would work great for this too)
Printed B - one 6x12 in. piece
Printed C - one 4 x 5 1/2 in. piece
Printed D - one 4 1/2 x 6 1/2 in. piece
Printed E - one 4 x 5 1/2 in. piece
Printed F - one 4 x 5 1/2 in. piece
two 1x6 in. strips
Printed G - two 1x6 in. pieces
Printed H - one 4x4 in. piece

Layout #3:
Cardstock A - one 12x12 sheet (Base Page)
one 6x8 in. piece
Cardstock B - one 12x12 sheet (Base Page)
one 4x4 in. piece
Cardstock C - one 4x6 in. piece
eight punched 1 3/4 in. circles (little larger or smaller is okay)
Cardstock D - one 4x4 in. piece
Cardstock E - one 1 1/2 x 12 in. piece (use a border punch down one side of this strip)
Printed A - one 6x12 in. piece
one 2x6in. piece
Printed B - one 2x12 in. piece
one 8x12 in. piece
Printed C - one 6 1/2 x 9 in. piece
one 3x6 in. piece
Printed D - one 5x7 in. piece
Printed E - one 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 in. piece

Layout #4:
Cardstock A - one 12x12 sheet (Base Page)
two 4x6 in. pieces
one 1x12 in. piece
Cardstock B - one 12x12 sheet (Base Page)
Cardstock C - one 5x7 in. piece

Other items to bring:

LOTS of ADHESIVE!
Pop Dots
Paper Distresser (if you have one)
Hole Punch or Cropadile (if you have one)

Please clip or bag up the cut pieces and have them seperated by LO...also, please write your name on the back of each Base Page. This will ensure that your pages get back to YOU!

Are You Staying Up Late?

Monday night at midnight magically turns into June 1st!  The new Anthologies Connection kit will be available for purchase EXACTLY on June 1st!

We really are happy with the June kit - 'Take Flight' and we are so excited about the creations that the Design Team have come up with for your inspiration!

We're even more excited to have a guest designer for June - Janet Hopkins from House of 3!  You'll def want too check out her creations with the 'Take Flight' kit! 

Also included in this month's kit are some wonderful digital design elements from House of 3 and if you have not played in this digital/hybrid area this would be a great
opportunity to try your hand!

"Take Flight" June Kit Sneak Peeks...
