Calling All Scrapstasher's!

Hello fellow Stasher's--

As most of you know...I broke the sacred code last month and told you what we will be doing for this month's Scrapstasher's Meetings. But for those of you who don't know, we will be having a

ScrapStasher Page Swap!
We will be creating 4 double lo's!
That's right, 8 pages my friend!

Here is how it will work. When you come to the meeting, I will have 4 groups of tables set up. Each group will work on 1 specific double lo (designed by me). Now in order for this swap to be successful and stress-free, it is extremely important that you bring your papers already cut in the dimensions that are provided for you below. You will assemble your pages and I will collect them. When everyone is finished, you will receive a lo from each group and walk away with 4 unique double lo's. Woo Hoo!

Here is your "What to Bring" list:

This is what you will need for 1 lo...please bring 4 sets (because we will be making 4 lo's). Put each set in a bag or paper clip them together so that you don't get them mixed up.

two sheets of 12x12 cardstock (base pages)
two 3x12 pieces of printed paper A
two 6x6 pieces of printed paper B
one 4x12 piece of printed paper C
two 5x7 pieces of cardstock A
one 4x12 pieces of cardstock B
2 coordinating cat eyes or ink pads

Additional items:
paper trimmer
(each group will make some additional cuts to the papers depending on that specific lo)
adhesive, adhesive, adhesive...you will need lots!
pop dots

If you have any questions, please let me know. Our Scrapstasher Page Swap is sure to be an AwEsoMe event and a great way to kick off the New Year! If you have not reserved your seat, then please contact the store immediatelyat (817) 282-2622. Also, for those of you who have reserved your seat, please let us know if you will not be able to attend so that we can provide your seat to someone else.

I look forward to creating with you next week!
Tracy :)

Merry! Merry!

Well, we have made it! Christmas is here and if you haven't bought it, baked it or wrapped it by now..... chances are it will not be missed!

The weather here in Texas has made one of it's dramatic swings and yesterday I was in short sleeves and working on my tan, today I am seeing those little snow flakes on the weather forcast on my iPhone and numbers like 3... and 9. A typical weather swing for us here in this great state! But, I personally embrace it! It's Christmas for goodness sake and it is supposed to be cold! Right? So enjoy!

Anthologies will be closed for 2 days so that we can all enjoy time with our families and friends and we hope that you are doing the same. We will be back on Saturday the 26th for those of you holding new Anthologies gift cards and can't wait to see you. But meanwhile enjoy your holiday and God bless us every one!

Calling ALL Scrapstasher's!!

Hello fellow Stasher’s!
I am posting the list for our December meetings a little early so that you have plenty of time to pull your goodies together for this month’s SuPEr FuN creation! Please review the list carefully…ready or not…here you go!

“What to Bring” List:
*Please bring 12 sets of the following papers: (that’s right…12 sets). Don’t worry, you will LoVe this FaBulOuS project! These paper groupings can be very different in style and colors…and they will be perfect to cut out of your scrap papers. It will help if you paper clip each set so they don’t get all mixed up when you bring them to our meeting.

1 – 3x5 in. piece of printed paper
1 – 5x5 in. piece of cardstock
1 – 3x4 in. piece of a different color cardstock or printed paper that coordinates with your other papers
1 – 6 to 8 in. piece of coordinating ribbon, ric rac, or other fibers

(Remember...12 sets of each)

*Other items that you will need to bring:

1 used CD case (I used my daughter’s old Hannah Montana CD case)
Several assorted buttons (varying sizes)
Adhesive (such as a tape runner)
Glue Dots
Zip Dry
Coordinating Cat Eyes (aka chalk ink pads) – this is optional
Stapler
Scissors
Trimmer
Black Journaling Pen

I will provide you with another “mystery” item when you come to class! Now, promise me that you won’t stress out choosing your papers…just use up all those scraps you’ve been building up in your stash. If you have any questions regarding the list, please contact me at the store (817) 282-2622. I look forward to creating with you this month!!!

Scrappily Yours,
Tracy :)
